This 3-day workshop is for artists of all levels and all media. Oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic are welcome. Vladislav will work with you individually at your easel to address compositional and color issues, and will provide careful critique. You will complete at least two paintings.
Vladislav believes that drawing well will be the foundation of any good painting. First day you have to expect to work in his Studio and polish your sketching techniques. The major emphasis for this day is composition, proportion, and perspective.
Second and Third day – Learn to create vibrant and visually stunning landscapes by studying values, quality of light and shadow, and time of the day will be addressed. We will work outside on plein air (Weather permitting). En plein air is a French expression which means “in the open air,” and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors, which is also called peinture sur le motif (“painting on the ground”) in French.
Lesson, demonstration and individual instructions are the parts of this structured workshop.
