We believe that drawing well will be the foundation of any good painting. The major emphasis of this course is composition, proportion, and perspective. Vladislav believes that personal instruction for each student in absolutely necessary to both break bad habits and build good ones. As the drawing is the basis for all visual arts, these classes have a particular emphasis on the forming and developing fundamental drawing skills. You will be learning and practicing through observation, analyzing the forms and constructing them. Students will draw three-dimensional solid objects, still life compositions, cast drawing and more as they advance to intermediate level.
